4:30pm to 6:00pm
TUCG fringe @ TUC
Central 8, Conference Centre
Thousands of Academy Schools sponsored by corporate interests, new private universities, privatisation extending to every aspect of health care via GP commissioning, the wholesale privatisation of our post office and even the total privatisation of prisons threaten the very fabric of our communities. There is a renewed need for users and providers of public services to unite to put public services before private profit.
Speakers include:
Christine Blower, NUT General Secretary
Tony Kearns, CWU Senior Deputy General Secretary
Colin Moses, POA National Chair
Alan Whittaker, UCU President
