Northern, North West and Eastern Regions LRC meeting

Friends Meeting House, Friargate, York

All members and supporters of the Labour Representation Committee are invited to attend this first historic meeting of it’s kind!  The purpose of the gathering is to begin the process of building the LRC in the areas, to promote our policies and program in a more organised way and to simultaneously build the structures of the LRC in the CLP’s.
Topics for discussion are:

  * The developing crisis in the economy and the impact on our class!
  * The crisis of leadership!
  * The crisis in the Labour Party!
  * The General Election!
  * Socialist Candidates!
  * Our Socialist Program!
  * How to build the LRC! 

How to get there? From the south: Take the A1M to J45 on to the A64 to York. Keep on the road for a while then follow the signs for the A1036 toward and into the city. Before you go under the city wall arch the 1036 turns right. Stay on this road, following the city walls, around to the left and over the bridge. Take the first left over the bridge and there is a big handy car park to the NE of the castle. Go round the castle and enter the car park and the FMH is only a short walk up Castlegate with a quick L/turn onto Friargate.

From the North: A1M at J47 onto the A59 all the way into the city, no detours! In the city turn left onto the A1036 where you will then see the city wall arch and follow as above!
We will be staying back for pint and a natter afterwards. All are welcome!
