This is a request for urgent expressions of solidarity for Mansour Osanloo, the Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Trade Union of the Vahed Bus Company of Tehran and Suburbs, Iran. The following is a statement issued by the Vahed union.
Mansour Osanloo sentenced to one more year in prison

Mansour Osanloo, the Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Trade Union of the Vahed Bus Company of Tehran and Suburbs, who because of his trade union activities had received a five-year sentence and which he is currently serving in prison, was charged by the Revolutionary Court in Karaj with propaganda against the regime and sentenced to a further year in prison.

According to Mr. Osanloo’s lawyers it is possible to protest against the sentence within 20 days of its announcement and that the lawyers will take action in due course.
