What is the LRC’s response to Blue Labour ? I can’t find it.
It is a toxic ideology. Are we just going to let it pass unchallenged ?

The problem is Andrew that Blue Labour seem to be very influencial on the Labour leadersip. We’ve even had Purple Labour from a group of Blaires!
The perception of the Labour Party the electorate get, is of something pretty much the same as the Coalition. Isn’t it time for Red Labour to give a different impression of the Labour Movement ?

I agree with Michael’s comments, the Labour Party is fast becoming factions of colour variations.
With the majority still pursuing NewLabour’s neo liberal agenda, and acting in the same craven style. Socialist/Social democratic principles and policies are needed more than ever in our society.
Which in inequality terms is racing back to victorian times, notice the attack on employment rights by the coaltion this week. The tories would like to take this further by pulling out of the EU social chapter and scrapping the human rights act. Thus really putting the clock backwards to employers doing exactly as they wish, and paying as little as possible. Meanwhile the labour leadership and majority of the PLP are totally silent, and cannot even verbally support the day of action on the 30th. Could this be the final wake up call, before a new version of labour has to be invented by the left and trade unions. The liberal party used to be the party of the TUC at one time, and look what happened to them.

I think we’ve given it precisely the amount of coverage it deserves.
Our policy positions are all over this website and clearly opposed to the ‘faith, flag and family’ Daily Mail populism of Blue Labour.
This piece by LRC member Kevin Hind (via LabourList) is a good critique though.
